tonight with the grace of God i would like to arise a person taken from the old testament.For many people do not read the old testament.The Old testament is a closed book.Even so it has and pictures many very and wealthy quotes of scripture in which helps man very much in his life.In many parts of his life whether work family community or country or life in general.Tonight i would like to bring to light a person who was actually an old testament figure.He but in turn was connected also to the new testament.That person in It biblical explanation was the actual Prophet Elijah.I do not know of you all know this but the prophet Elijah has not died.He is alive.Early in the 1970s he had given a written statement to church in Greek Perieuas Weap! Mourn! Repent!From it is coming soon as the day and nights of the desert.For it is near the wrath of God.With the actual signature of Elijah the glorious.The church confesses and those that carry his name listen to it.But actually we will not know if all these things are really true.The only thing we have is the facts.The works of his hands.And the documentations of the church.Well to begin the story in the Old Testament tonight i would like to bring forth another person from the old testament.The person of Ahab and his wife Elizabeth.They where in that time trying mostly to be upright before there nation.Trying to uphold the laws and begin justly.The prophet Elijah brought forth a canon to the King.He spoke and saith.It does not want to rain or cool breeze comes in the morning till i pronounce it.This canon was brought forth by the prophet everything died everything dried up everything corpses of animal people thirsty everything an awful horror had happened to Ahab.So in turn God see the Prophets Prayers and ties to teach the Prophet a Lesson on one side of his view.He in turn God send Him a crow to fend for the prophet.Morning and night the Lord God send him food.Do you know when the crow has its little crow litters it abandons is little crows very high on the cliff.So high that mosquitoes or bugs do not live.But amazingly the little crows survive God feeds them otherwise they would be no crows.For many days the prophet was brought food from the crow making its way morning and night.Do you know the crow eats with eats beak and nails?You could of sent a cleaner bird to support the prophet.
But as so the crow was a lesson in God so to the Prophet God enough nerve to Go to the King and confront the people of His time.He said to the King we will send oxen into the field and drown it in water.They dreadfully flood the place.First the worshipers of ball they claimed to know baal.They tore there clothes they cut there bodies but no fire.Then the prophet saith i claim to know that God approves of me.And God sent fire and consumes the whole burnt offering still they did not repent so the prophet slain most 500 or so men by himself.The King was in fury he saith the ends will be for the prophets life and the prophet was led into the desert.Where there is a holy monastery Hozeva next to a church by a bell.They he stood There was a earthquake but God was Not in the earthquake there was lightning but God was not in the lightning.Then the prophet heard a whisper God was in the whisper as so whisper....The church still exclaims the Incarnate Spiritual Angel the Prophets Judge the second forerunner Elijah the Glorious...

religion is the close relationship to God.The dependence of man upon the communion with God.A feeling of relationship to say and a strong attraction for Him.The whole hearted turning to God.



Where does religion arise and come from?
Religious feelings and emotions are and exist in man planted there by a higher being.As seen in man his being was changed and his desire to find God to satisfy his desires for rest in him.



What is the purpose of religion?
To attain personal union with God.And from this Union attain happiness and to attain theossis become God by grace.

The place of the laity in fulfilling this three-fold work of the church is richly documented in the history of the church..In reference to the kingly rule,the laity in the past have shared in the choice of the raising of candidates for the sacramental priesthood of the election of bishops.Today they fully fulfill this role in there deep admiration of the parishes.
